Minutes of February 18, 1999 Meeting

The meeting was called to order by President Erin Rischette at 4:02PM.

1.  Announcements
 - $3.50 for Madison Expo, sign up by April 1, see John Schmidt or Erin.
 - Fill out class schedules if you have not already.

2.  The Minutes of 2/2/99 were approved as written.

3.  Treasurer/VP Mark Bertolasi gave a report!

4.  Committee Reports
	Physics is Phantastic
		No updates at the time.
	Colloquim - Phil Sealy in approximately two weeks.
	Trip/Social -
		Dave Minerath resigned.  Aaron Wilson, Geoff Barrows, and 
			Travis Norhling will tri-chair.
		Chicago Museum of Science and Industry - 2/27 (Saturday),
			Erin needs to know who is going by Wednesday.
			Will leave at 6AM behind Otts.
		UW-Madison Physics Presentaions and Tours, 2/20, leaving at
			11AM behind Otts.  It's FREE!
		Bowling - A good time was had by all.
		Movie Night:  Dr. Strangelove was shown to TWO people.
	Bulletin Board - SPS events put on a calendar.
	SPS Zone Meeting Spring 99 - 
		A gentleman from New Mexico is going to present on the year
		that he lived in the geographic south pole.
		$5 a person, cost for UWP members to be determined.
		A preliminary schedule was relayed to the group.

5.  Sigma Pi Sigma - March 11, 6PM, Platte Room of Ullsvik Center:
			Travis Norhling, Jason Anibas, Geoff Barrows, Erin 
			Rischette, Mike Aufdermauer, Adam Draeger, and Greig
			Olney.
                                           
6.  EXPO '99
	Need info by March 1.  Physics Exploratorium by SPS.  Individuals?

meeting was adjourned, by consent, at 4:37PM.
