Minutes for January 18, 2001

The meeting was called to order at 4:01PM by President Mark Broker.

1. Announcements

      Welcome new member Deb Winget.

2. Approval of Minutes from Dec 7 2000

	A few edits.

3. Treasurers Report

        No report.

4. Committee Reports
	A. Physics is Phantastic 
		Jill is going to be busy and her schedule doesn't cooperate
with 
			school visits. Help needed.

	B. Colloquium 
		Jason Anibas and Jason Fingerson are back from coops and will 
			be doing colloquiums, as will Jessica Erickson.
		Dr. Jeong - Holography show, Mark has contacted him for the end 
			of April 
		
	C. Trip Social
		Huge interest survey and rough listing of dates. 

	D. Bulletin Board 
		No report

	F. Additional committees
		Exam Book 
			Email coming out soon for list of exams.
		
5. Spring Zone Meeting
	Amy will be getting the ball rolling, with help from Greg, Jessica,
		Jason A., and Adam D. Will be held after expo.
 
6. Sigma Pi Sigma
	A 3.0 CGPA is needed. Amy and Jill are interested. Sometime in March 
		is a good time for the ceremony.

7. Other
	Schedules for the new semester to be filled out.
	SPS Scholarships available due Feb 15.
	Canoe work this weekend. The canoe to be raffled will be hung in Dick's
		to promote raffle ticket sales.
