These are the projects we are working on for the upcoming year.

SAI-Katie Hartke Music Education Scholarship

We are currently taking donations for the Katie Hartke Music Ed Scholarship. This scholarship is in memory of our lost sister, Katie Hartke, who passed away on January 24, 2006. Katie had been the K-12 Choral and General music teacher at Prentice School District for two years when she was killed on her way to school when a logging truck crossed the center lane and hit her car head on. Katie was 24 years old.

The scholarship is open to all music education majors at UWP, within one year of their student teaching semester, who uphold the ideals that Katie believed in and that show excellence in academics, music and community service.
