Welcome to the Public Relations Organization page. PRO is a student club on the UW-Platteville campus that is dedicated to providing fee-based public relations services to businesses in the local areas.

The Public Relations Organization (PRO) is open to all students and attracts students with interests in graphics, multimedia, marketing, advertising, and public relations. Members of PRO work together to generate funds for attending two major, national conferences each year (chosen by the students). Guest speakers provide insight to their professional specialties – such as freelancing in related fields, job hunting, negotiation, meeting and event planning, and other topics. The purpose of PRO is to provide opportunities to enhance student skills, portfolios, and resumes. PRO also increases networking and professional development opportunities. The students in PRO offer an annual awards competition for all other student organizations, providing cash awards for excellence in public relations, fundraising, community service, and promotional materials. In the future, we hope to hold the PRO Awards in Spring.

PRO! is sponsoring an Integrated Communications Conference to be held April 21st (1:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m.)
