A Note from the Director

Hello, my name is Matthew Gregg and I am the Director of the UW-P Marching Pioneers. I am looking forward to building on the exciting marching band tradition that we have here at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and would like to personally invite you to become a part of that tradition. We are looking to boost our numbers in every section and provide more UW-P students the opportunity to join the Marching Pioneers. Whatever your section of interest and whatever your experience level, there is a place for you in the band!! If you are a young lady interested in performing in our color guard, I would like to extend a special invitation for you to join us this season.

This season promises to be both challenging and fun for all involved with five home football games on the schedule and a road trip to perform for a professional sporting event! The show plans are coming along great and now all that is left is for us is to finalize our numbers in each section and write the drill. We sure hope that you consider being a part of this tremendous performing group and read through this information carefully for more details.
