Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) is an international honor society for electrical
engineers. The organization encourages its members to be actively
involved in their departments, colleges, universities, and communities.
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville's Eta Kappa Nu - Kappa Theta Chapter was installed in early 1994. The new chapter of Eta Kappa Nu replaces Eta Lambda Epsilon, a local EE honor society that was formed in 1989. Eta Kappa Nu continues the activities and work of Eta Lambda Epsilon in holding regular meetings, providing services for students, working cooperatively with IEEE, supporting engineering expo projects, participating in highway cleanup, and carrying out various fundraising activities.
We firmly believe that UW-Platteville produces some of the best, brightest, and most experienced electrical engineering graduates in the midwest. If you are an employer seeking more information about UWP and our engineering culture, we would be delighted to speak with you.
