2003 Competition
Stack Attack
At the start of this match the drivers and coach are in the Player Station. The four human players are standing on sensor pads next to their scoring zones with four totes. There are 29 totes stacked in seven stacks at the top of the ramp. The four robots are in their gray starting zones.
In the first 10 seconds human players can stack their totes in any manner they wish in their scoring zones. If the human players do not return to their sensor pads by the end of that time, their robot will not go into autonomous mode.
At the end of the human player time the robots have 15 seconds of autonomous play. At the end of this time drivers will take control of the robots and play the remaining 1:45.
Scoring is done in this fashion: Each tote legally in your scoring zone is worth 1 point. Multiply this by the highest stack stacked in your scoring zone. Add 25 points for every robot in your alliance that only touches the top of the ramp at the end of the match. If there are 10 totes in your scoring zone and a stack 5 high and one robot at the top of the ramp, then your alliance scored 75.
