Rules
The following is an example of marking your score sheet when completing the
linear evaluation of a cow.
After viewing the cow you have observed the following:
Form

Stature: Intermediate (55")

Strength: Very Strong

Body Depth: Shallow to Intermediate

Dairy Form: Open
Rump

Rump Angle: Pins slightly higher than hooks

Rump Width: Intermediate (4.5")
Legs and Feet

Side View: Nearly straight in hock

Foot Angle: Intermediate angle (45 degrees)
Udder

Fore Udder Attachment: Loose attachment

Rear Udder Height: Intermediate to low
-
Rear Udder Width: Narrow
-
Udder Cleft: Weak
-
Udder Depth: Udder floor at point of hocks
Teats

Front Teat Placement: Placement on inside of quater

Teat Length: Short
