Guidelines to Qualify for State Career Development Events
In order to qualify to advance on to the state events, a team must rank in the top portion of the teams competing at the area event according to the criteria listed below. The percentages qualified at area contests are based on the number of full 3 or 4 person teams indicating that they are attempting to qualify at an area contest.
All QUALIFYING State FFA Career Development Event entries and payments must be postmarked no later than Tuesday, April 11, 2008. A late penalty of $50 per day will be charged to any entry and/or payment that arrives after the April 11 deadline. Postmark must be a bona fide postmark from a U.S. Post Office. Metered dates will not be accepted if they arrive after the deadline.
