It was a mighty frigid Wednesday this week, but it
was a meeting to put in the history books!
Sara Fierst, resigned her position as co-historian
to pursue student teaching in Cuba City this spring.
In response, Joe Crouch was nominated and elected
into the open position. James Kersten shared
the shortest story in Donut Run Club history and was
awarded Donut Runner of the Week for forgetting
Sarah Jarvis's book at Piggly Wiggly at the previous
meeting. Donut Run veteran Joe Cavanaugh
expressed how happy he is to have shared the past
three years with the Donut Run Club and announced
his intent to graduate this semester as well as his
recent engagement. Congratulations Joe!
And of course, many donuts and good times were
shared by all!

Another great Donut Run tonight, with 40 fantastic
individuals. A long distance donut was brought to
Val Wetzel in the PIC, and the Donut Runner of the

Another momentous day in Donut Run History. The
first Donut Run of the 2008/2009 school year bore a
record 43 runners! A number of DRC members
decide to actually run to Piggly Wiggly. The
catalyst of this movement, Andrew Winker, was
promptly voted Donut Runner of the Week. There will
now be an unofficial run-to-the-Donuts every week
starting at approximately 9:55 PM. |
