What CMA is all about!

Becoming a member of the Construction Management Association provides students with the opportunity to become more knowledgeable of the construction industry. Involvement with CMA provides interaction with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), member contractors, construction faculty, and students with similar interests and career goals.

The Construction Management Association meets once a month to gather ideas on possible activities and to discuss upcoming events. At nearly every one of these meetings a speaker directly from the field of construction reveals his or her views and ideas, explains the facts, and answers questions on that night's topic of discussion. Many times this can be a great help to students who are unsure of what certain jobs in the construction industry entail.

CMA also organizes and participates in events throughout the year such as: JP Cullen's Mock Bid (Janesville), ABC of WI Safety Conference (Wis. Dells), and various other jobsite and business tours with contractors throughout Wisconsin.
