OVERVIEW

The American Society of Civil Engineers is the oldest national engineering society in the United States. The mission of ASCE is to enhance the quality of life worldwide by advancing professional knowledge and improving the practice of civil engineering in service to humanity. Founded in 1852, ASCE has more than 25,000 student members.


THE UWP CHAPTER

As a member of ASCE at UWP, you will have the opportunity to compete in intercollegiate engineering competitions, go on engineering-related field trips, and listen to practicing engineers in the field who discuss the unique projects on which they are working. By becoming involved with ASCE you will learn more about putting civil engineering to practice and have the opportunity to meet and network with professionals in your field.


GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Our next business meeting will take place on Thursday, April 16 at 7:00 PM..

The Steel Bridge Competition was in Fargo, ND this year on March 19-20.

Concrete Canoe Regionals will be at the University of Iowa on April 17-18.
