Export Thunderbird Address Book as CSV File

• Open Thunderbird
• Open Address Book by clicking on the "Address Book" icon in the toolbar



• In the Address Book window, click Tools --> Export...



• In the Export Address Book dialog:
  • Choose a location to save your address book
  • Type a file name into the "File name:" text box
  • Change "Save as type" to "Comma Separated"
  
  
  
  
• Click Save

Import Comma Separated Address Book into Zimbra Contacts

• Open a web browser
• Log into Zimbra
• Click on the "Preferences" tab



• Click on the "Import/Export" tab
• Under the Import section choose:
• Type: Contacts
• Destination: [Browse...] and select Contacts
• File: [Browse...] for the CSV file created by export from Thunderbird




• Click "Import"
• A green "Import Started" pop-up will appear towards the top of the Zimbra window
• When the import completes, an Informational pop-up will appear stating "Import succeeded."
• Click OK
