Open the properties window for the Wireless Network Connection. To accomplish this click Start > Settings > Control panel.

Double-click Network Connections.

Right-click on the Wireless Network connection and select Properties.

Uncheck File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks

Click on the Wireless Networks tab.

uwpwireless should appear in the Available networks section. Click on it to highlight it and click the Configure button.

Verify that Data encryption (WEP enabled) is not checked.
Verify that Network Authentication (Shared mode) is not checked.
Click OK

uwpwireless has now be added to the list of Preferred networks.

Click OK to finish the configuration.
