Mac OS X 10.3 and higher users can connect to the uwpwireless network from a Macintosh computer with an Airport card.

To setup wireless networking in Mac OS X 10.3:
  1. Open System Preferences from the dock

  2. Within System Preferences, select Network

  3. Set Location to Automatic and set Show to AirPort. If you are unable to select AirPort, select Network Port Configurations and make sure AirPort is selected.

  4. Under the TCP/IP tab, set Configure IPv4 to Using DHCP.

  5. Under the Airport tab, select By default, join a specific network.

  6. Enter uwpwireless in the Network field. Leave the Password field blank.

  7. Check Show Airport status in menu bar if it is not checked.

  8. Click the Apply Now button.

  9. Close System Preferences, saving any changes you made.

You are now ready to access the uwpwireless network!
