Mac OS X 10.3 and higher users can connect to the uwpwireless network from a Macintosh computer with an Airport card.
To setup wireless networking in Mac OS X 10.3:
- Open System Preferences from the dock
- Within System Preferences, select Network
- Set Location to Automatic and set Show to AirPort. If you are unable to select AirPort, select Network Port Configurations and make sure AirPort is selected.
- Under the TCP/IP tab, set Configure IPv4 to Using DHCP.
- Under the Airport tab, select By default, join a specific network.
- Enter uwpwireless in the Network field. Leave the Password field blank.
- Check Show Airport status in menu bar if it is not checked.
- Click the Apply Now button.
- Close System Preferences, saving any changes you made.
You are now ready to access the uwpwireless network!
