You can change your NetID password online using a web interface if you currently know your UW-Platteville NetID and password.

How to change your NetID password online

  1. Go to UWP Password Self-Service.

  2. Click on Change Password link.

  3. Enter your UW-Platteville NetID and password
  4. Click on the Login button
    5. Set new password

  5. (Make note of how the password policy affects the properties of your new password)
  6. Enter your new password
    7. Password meets requirements

  7. As you are typing in your new password messages will be displayed in the box above "New Password" to show if the password meets the requirements.
  8. Enter your new password again to confirm
    9. New password acceptable?

  9. Click on the Change Password button.
    10. Password successfully changed.

  10. Click on Continue.
