What is the largest size of e-mail attachment that can be sent?
There is a 50 megabyte attachment size limit. A much more efficient method to share files on-campus is to use network storage. A message telling people where the file is located is much smaller and will not create unnecessary load on the mail system. It will also prevent the problem of multiple revisions of a document being passed around.
Example:
"I've updated the agenda at \\SHARED1_SVR\SHARED1\WGroups\Financial_Aid\Agenda.doc. Please review it before the meeting and e-mail me any changes."
