Why does e-mail sometimes bounce back to me or become undeliverable when I reply to a message?
There are a number of possibilities for a bounce:
- The mail system may be unreachable.
- The user's account may be inactive.
- The user may not have entered the proper reply-to address.
- The user may be a spammer and is intentionally providing a false return address.
