As promised, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) has recently implemented a password self-service system that allows you to change your own password online from anywhere that you have access to a web browser. The system also features a forgotten password service that allows you to reset your own password if it has expired or if you have forgotten it. To use this self-service password reset, you MUST answer a series of challenge questions BEFORE your password expires or is forgotten.

OIT recommends that you prepare to use the self-service system by filling out your responses to the challenge questions as soon as possible. Go to http://www.uwplatt.edu/go/password and follow the Configure the Forgotten Password Service link. Afterwards, we recommend that you go ahead and change your password to make sure everything is up-to-date. To do so, go to http://www.uwplatt.edu/go/password and follow the Change My eDirectory Password Online link.
