Wright Center Sponsored Computer Check Out


The Wright center has purchased two computers, with card readers and we have teamed with Information Technology Services to make them awailable at the Help Desk (first floor Karrmann Library) for a week-long check out with a valid student ID. We also have computers available at 322 Royce, with card readers, for daily use druing office hours.


Non-Traditional Student Scholarships


The Wright Center has obtained five $1,000 scholarships designed for Non-Traditional students only. Visit the UW-Platteville Financial Aid webpage for more information,

Desire2Learn Training

This system is used by many instructors on campus.  The Wright Center is joining Instructional Center for Educational Technologies to host a workshop to help you out. 322 Royce Hall at the Wright Center. Come check out the new Wright Center for Non-Traditional and Veteran Students. It's a great place to study, relax, and meet other people. The center has comfortable study chairs, computers with card readers, tables, microwave, refrigerator, keurig, and resources, Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Paddle In The Park

Sept. 21 | 10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.| Cox Hollow Boat Landing, Governor Dodge State Park

The UW-Platteville Wright and Doyle Centers will be teaming together to sponsor a Paddle in the Park event. Come join us for a day of kayaking and canoeing - all boats and life vests are provided. Families are welcome. Participants need to provide their own transportation and the park entrance fee is $7 per vehicle. Bring your own food and beverages. The cost is $5 per person, children under the age of 12 are free. R.S.V.P. by Sept. 16 to

Join us for a free six week Pilates/yoga combo on the lawn outside Warner Hall, taught by our own Brandi Webber. Open to students, faculty and staff. Bring your own mat. Light refreshments provided.
