The Academic and Career Advising Center provides a supportive environment for the professional development of UW-Platteville students and alumni.
Offers mental health counseling, study skills training, and career testing services for all students.
Assist students with disabilities in obtaining reasonable academic and non-academic accommodations as well as auxiliary aids, as well as reviews documentation and meets with students to determine appropriate accommodations.
Serves as a central contact for resources and support for women on campus. All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to drop in for educational resources, or just a friendly place to relax and study.
Offers one-on-one peer tutoring services to any student regardless of skill level or grade point average for a minimal fee.
Provides assistance to students who may need extra support to succeed in college. Learning skills sessions, study skill groups, counseling/advising and tutoring are available at no charge. Participation in programs offered by Student Support Services is limited to students who meet qualifying criteria.
The Writing Center works one-on-one with students on any word-related needs, and also provides tutors for peer review workshops, study tables, and as general support for specific writing assignments.
The Mathematics Learning Center offers free peer tutoring (staffed by mathematics majors) during the semester.
