Meet Bryan Mulligan
Bryan Mulligan has joined Information Technology Services as Web Developer, a position that has been vacant since last summer. Bryan started in his position on March 28. His primary duties consist of designing, developing, and maintaining UW-Platteville’s website while working to improve its performance and infrastructure. In addition Bryan is a member of the Universal Design Advisory Committee on campus, and he supervises the student Web Development team.
Bryan wasted no time diving right into his new duties, working almost immediately with Deb Meyer, ITS Training and Communications Coordinator, to begin developing a regular web CMS training program. With specialties in front end web development and marketing, Bryan is focusing efforts on reconfiguring the web environment and rethinking the website for “Mobile First” to optimize the visitor experience.
Outside of work, Bryan enjoys home brewing, making pallet furniture, felling trees, and walking. You may also find him unwinding by playing guitar, listening to the band Weezer, or reading a This Old House magazine with a cup of French Roast coffee. While he hasn’t had time to explore much off-campus, Bryan is enjoying becoming familiar with the university.
“Thank you for making my transition to Wisconsin so pleasant. I have lots of ideas for making our website great, and with help from you we’ll do it!”
