April Barr
April Barr
Major: Chemistry with an emphasis in ACS
Hobbies: Hanging out with friends and family, watching the newest movies, and spelunking/adventuring when possible.
Interesting things about me: I'm half Hispanic, I'm a first generation college student, I've gone sky diving, I've ridden a camel three times, kissed a giraffe, and fed a walrus (I love animals).
Why students should connect with me: I'm very friendly and I never hesitate to help someone out! Sometimes I may seem like I have life figured out, but I most certainly do not! So anyone can come to me for help because I've most likely been there and done that, and we can both figure out our lives together!

Interesting things about me: My career goal is to become a physician. I love to travel! I have been to the Netherlands, Germany, and Peru through opportunities to study abroad!
Why students should connect with me: Students should connect with me because I am a senior with a lot of experience with this school and college life in general.

Kelsey Crosby
Major: Biology
Hobbies: YouTube surfing, going on adventures, connecting with my home skillets, learning new things, and trying new foods.
Interesting things about me: I’ve eaten raw octopus’ tentacles, love puns, have a “small” obsession with pandas, I’m cursed with Celiac’s Disease (No gluten for me), and I was stationed in the Republic of Korea (i.e. South Korea) while I was Air Force Active Duty. My job in the Air Force? Tactical Aircraft Maintainer on the F-16 shred and it’s totally YouTubeable.
Why students should connect with me: I’m a non-traditional veteran student who has a lot of life experience that I’m willing to share if needed. I’m basically a walking resource full of useful and some unexpected useful knowledge. If I don’t know an answer to a question, I can almost guarantee I know someone who does. Also, I’m pretty honest and don’t like wasting people’s time.

When someone asks me for help I try my best to be as helpful as possible and put in the extra effort to find out as much information about the topic that is necessary. I am looking forward to a great year and meeting all of you!
