University Box Office’s new online ticketing system offers expanded features

The UW-Platteville University Box Office has a new online ticketing system called “Box Office,” provided by vendor SeatAdvisor Inc. The UW-Platteville's Opera Workshop will present two performances of the opera “Hansel and Gretel” on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 11 a.m. and on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. in the Richard and Helen Brodbeck Concert Hall. Five By Design to perform at Center for the Arts

The UW-Platteville Center for the Arts will present Five By Design on Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. in the Brodbeck Concert Hall. Set in the format of a faux radio broadcast from a tiki room somewhere in the South Pacific, “The Ultra Lounge Show” travels to exotic locales. The music of “The Ultra Lounge Show” focuses on the kings and queens of cool, the artists that defined the atomic era, such as Bobby Darin, Rosemary Clooney, Wayne Newton, Louis Prima and Keely Smith, and the songs they made famous in new arrangements. Terra Madre to perform at UW-Platteville Center for the Arts on Oct. 21

UW-Platteville Center for the Arts will present Terra Madre on Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. in the Brodbeck Concert Hall. Marco Albonetti has been described as one of the most exceptional saxophone players in the world. UW-Platteville Theatre and Pioneer Players announce fall auditions

The UW-Platteville Theatre and Pioneer Players are holding auditions for the fall 2013 season.
