PLATTEVILLE - Women can hark back to early Wisconsin days at the next University of Wisconsin-Platteville Connections luncheon series, "Stories of Old Wisconsin," Tuesday, Jan. 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Park Inn Convention Center, Platteville.

The lunch event will feature Betty Ferris, UW-Madison library system historian. She also serves as visuals director for Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua and content editor for "Tent Show Radio" on Wisconsin Public Radio.

Ferris will focus on state adventurers, entrepreneurs, writers, scientists and political activists whose lives and works contributed to Wisconsin.
