PLATTEVILLE-The University of Wisconsin-Platteville plans to revamp its diversity plan to increase enrollment for minority students.

Multicultural Services Director Carlos Wiley said a meeting to overhaul the plan is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, in the University Room of the Pioneer Student Center.

The meeting will have critical outcomes. "We need to know and understand what we're planning," said Wiley. Increasing the number of minority students and dealing with classroom climate are paramount to be in compliance with a statewide diversity campaign, Wiley added.

UWP has completed the first half of a 10-year plan to diversity the campus and is part of the UW System Plan 2008.

Wiley said he encourages all campus workers to attend the event. For further information, please call 608-342-1332.
