Udelhofen named president elect of WACRAO
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — Angela Udelhofen, University of Wisconsin-Platteville assistant chancellor for Admission and Enrollment Services, was recently named the new president elect of the Wisconsin Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.
As president elect, Udelhofen’s main role is to work with the standing committees and local arrangement committee to plan the annual conference that will take place in November 2014. The conference includes presentations from WACRAO members and keynote speakers. “It’s truly a chance to hear from our peers and acquire new strategies to bring back and implement on our campuses,” she said.
Udelhofen has been a member of WACRAO for 14 years and has served on the admissions and local arrangement committees as well as facilitating sessions and presenting at previous conferences. “Being a member has definitely made a difference for me here at UW-Platteville working with enrollment and leading our teams throughout the last 14 years,” she said.
After serving one year as president elect, Udelhofen will serve one year each as president, past president and executive board member.
“It is through organizations such as WACRAO that we can become better leaders and help future students achieve their dreams,” she said.
WACRAO, founded in 1927, is a not-for-profit organization that provides professional development opportunities to its members, fosters cooperation and promotes enrollment services. WACRAO consists of approximately 380 members in admissions and registrars from 60 different institutions across the state.
