Honors recital to showcase 10 students on Feb. 4

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Ten students who distinguished themselves in their juried performance examinations last fall will perform in the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Honors Recital on Monday, Feb. 4. The event, which is free and open to the public, begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Richard and Helen Brodbeck Concert Hall in the Center for the Arts. A reception will follow in the CFA lobby.

Students performers include Madison Anderson of Wind Lake, Wis., as soprano; Zachary Buechner of Cross Plains, Wis., on trumpet; Ella Caswell of Stockton, Ill., on piano; Sean Garde of Monroe, Wis., on saxophone; Megan King of Mondovi, Wis., on saxophone; Alyssa Reynolds of Cuba City, Wis., on marimba; Annelise Roti Roti of Green Lake, Wis., on euphonium; Nicholas Winders of East Dubuque, Ill., on baritone; Lane Whitaker of Kenosha, Wis., on violin; and Amanda Zasada of Platteville, Wis., as soprano.

“The Student Honors Recital recognizes dedicated students who strive for excellence, and our faculty looks forward to honoring these exemplary students at this event,” said Dr. Susan Savage Day, UW-Platteville assistant professor of music and vocal area coordinator.
