Color Run attracts nearly 400 runners
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The inaugural UW-Platteville Engineers Without Borders-USA Color Run took place on Saturday, April 20 at Memorial Park on campus. More than 375 people participated.
Runners arrived at the starting line dressed in white and by the time they finished they were covered in a variety of colors.
Money raised from the event will be used by the campus Engineers Without Borders chapter to help build a primary school in Ghana. The school will benefit 250 students.
Organizers are planning to host the event again either in the fall or next spring.
