Dr. Evan Larson, assistant professor of geography, along with his co-principal investigator Dr. Kurt Kipfmueller, associate professor of geography at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, was recently awarded a $310,000 grant from the Geography and Spatial Sciences program at the National Science Foundation in Arlington, Va. Of the total award, more than $210,000 will go toward supporting research efforts at UW-Platteville. Read more...
