PLATTEVILLE- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Continuing Education will be hosting the 21st annual Early Childhood Conference on March 29. The conference will allow early childhood teachers, administrators, childcare providers and advocates to attend workshops, shop for program supplies and network with other attendees.

The theme of this year's conference is "Celebrate and Create Connections." Stuart Stotts is the keynote speaker for the event with Karen McCaa as the general session presenter.

Educators may receive a certificate for 0.6 continuing education units for participating in the conference. A $3 processing fee is due upon certificate request on the day of the conference.

Educators may also earn one UWP credit for participating in the conference and completing additional coursework. Credit materials may be requested when registering. In addition to the conference fee, UWP tuition and fees apply.

"We hope that participants will fulfill the theme of the conference by celebrating and creating connections. It's a great learning opportunity for anyone interested in early childhood education,"Gregory Imbur, UWP education professor, said. Imbur will also be presenting a workshop entitled, "Exposing Children to the Wonderful World of Alphabet Books."
