Earth's past and future climates to be discussed at March faculty forum
PLATTEVILLE- Snowballs, hothouses, icehouses and greenhouses are on the agenda for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Liberal Arts and Education Faculty Forum to be presented on March 6. The forum will feature thoughts from UWP associate professor of geography Elmo Rawling with UWP professor of geography Richard Waugh responding.
Rawling plans to discuss the long-term historical impacts of climate change and Waugh will highlight the current impacts of climate change on the Earth. Snowballs, Hothouses, Icehouses and Greenhouses: Earth's Past and Future Climates will take place in the Nohr Gallery in Ullsvik Hall from 5 to 6:30 p.m. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
