Fox Sports Net will televise UWP basketball games

PLATTEVILLE - Fox Sports Net will televise the University of Wisconsin-Platteville versus UW-Stout basketball games from Williams Fieldhouse Saturday, Dec. 2.

The nationally ranked Pioneers and Blue Devils collide in men's action at 3 p.m. while the once-beaten UWP women's team tangles with undefeated UW-Stout at 5 p.m.

Pioneer Coaches Paul Combs and Tina Kuhle are urging all fans to wear orange for "Orange Out Day." The popular student O-Zone section promises to be in full gear for the TV cameras and to cheer on the Pioneers in this crucial Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest. UW-Platteville students are admitted free with their IDs.

The Pioneer men are 4-0 and just eight votes out of the D3hoops.com top 25, while the Blue Devils take a 2-0 record into Wednesday's game against UW-Eau Claire. Stout also received votes in this week's national poll.

The UWP women are 4-1, heading into tonight's non-conference game at Millikin, while Stout is 5-0 and ranked sixth in the country. (The Blue Devils faced UW-Eau Claire Wednesday.)
