UWP leaders to be honored at awards ceremony
PLATTEVILLE - On April 28, University of Wisconsin-Platteville students, faculty and staff will be honored at the 2006 UWP Leadership Awards Ceremony. During the ceremony, award nominees will be recognized and winners will be announced. The presentations will begin at 7 p.m. in the Center for the Arts building on the UWP campus. There is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome.
David Nevins, UWP leadership development coordinator, commented, "The Leadership Awards are held each year as a positive way to recognize the outstanding student leadership on the UWP campus." Awards include: Oak Leaf Award for Outstanding Student Organization, Foundation Excellence in Leadership Award, Alumni Association Super Senior/Honorary Life Membership Award, Outstanding Advisor and Support Staff Person for a Student Organization, Chancellor's Medallion Award and Graduate Student Leadership Award.
