Labor workshop offered at UWP Pioneer Farm

PLATTEVILLE - On Tuesday, April 25, the Southwest Wisconsin Small Business Development Center will be offering a workshop in cooperation with the U.S. and Wisconsin Departments of Labor. This workshop will only be offered one other time this year (in Green Bay). Running from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., eight speakers will present state and federal information, regulations and law updates in the areas of labor standards, revenue standards, OSHA, EEOC and unemployment insurance. These speakers are tenured field auditors eager to share their experiences with small to medium sized business owners and human resource professionals. The workshop will be held at the UW-Platteville Pioneer Farm, Agriculture Technology Center in the Distance Education Classroom. The cost is $25 per person ($20 in advance).
