Foundation Excellence Award recipients honored
PLATTEVILLE - Outstanding University of Wisconsin-Platteville freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or non-graduating seniors are recognized for their achievements with the UWP Foundation Excellence in Leadership Award. Up to five awards can be presented annually at the Leadership Awards Ceremony. This year's ceremony was held on Friday, April 30, at 7 p.m. in the Center for the Arts.
The 2004 nominees were Matt Binkley, Kyle Brueckner, Michael Brunner, Dominique Detloff, Kim Dower, Alan Halfen, Tiffany Hezel, Lori Hillery, Crystal Ann Imhof, Kimberly Johnson, Holly Kaiser, Catherine Kittle, Kenneth McHone, Michael Mostek, Aaron Nysse, Jeffrey Poff, Jason Pollard, Katherine Reichling, Kristin Shimpach, Adam Smith, Amy Spotts, and Carl Wesley.
The 2004 recipients of this award are Hillery, Imhof, Kittle, Reichling, and Shimpach. Shimpach and Reichling each received a $250 scholarship from the UWP Alumni Association in addition to their award.
