SWSBDC offers a Developing a Business Plan class

PLATTEVILLE-The Southwestern Wisconsin Small Business Development Center (SWSBDC) aims to help entrepreneurs, and new and/or established small business owners in developing their business skills. On June 12 they will be offering a "Developing a Business Plan" class at Southwest Technical College, Fennimore. The class is for those who have recently started or want to start a new business or anyone who wants to launch a new product or service. Participants will learn from real life business cases, and have an opportunity to apply their learning to their business during the workshop.

Participants will learn to develop a business plan, and determine whether their idea is profitable or sustainable. They will also identify and build a competitive advantage and write their marketing plan. Other segments will help participants develop their financial assumptions and projections for sales and cash flow, and develop key management roles for their business.

The class will be held in Room 493 in the new College Connection with check-in and materials from 9-9:30 a.m., and the workshop being held 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Class cost is $99 and pre-registration is required. Interested persons may call the SWSBDC at (608) 342-1038 to pay by credit card or to request a registration form. Class will be limited to 30 participants.
