Lifetime Pioneer Award winners announced
PLATTEVILLE - Every year the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Alumni Association honors graduating seniors who have excelled in academic excellence, campus activities, personal and professional achievements, leadership, and community involvement by awarding them a lifetime membership in the alumni association. Entitled the UWP Lifetime Pioneer Award, this year's recipients were recognized at the annual Leadership Awards Ceremony on Friday, April 30, at 7 p.m. in the Center for the Arts.
The nominees for the College of Engineering, Mathematics, and Science (EMS) were Adam Christnovich, Heidi Joubert, Sara Matson, Jeremy Schaefer, and Tiffany Vilter. The nominees for the College of Business, Industry, Life Science, and Agriculture (BILSA) were Johanna Belken, Debra Bourdo, Melissa Boulden, Gretchen Brewer, Daniel Determan, Angela Drake, Brett Gough, Jonathan Stevens, and Eric Tourbier. The nominees for the College of Liberal Arts and Education (LAE) were Jenny Hartzheim, Katie Joestgen, Mandy McWorthy, Anna Mroch, Deborah Rice, and Theresa Sanderfoot.
This year's recipients were an integral part of involvement on every part of the UWP campus from athletics and student governance to academics and Greek life. The 2004 Lifetime Pioneer Award recipients are Brewer, Bourdo, Vilter, Joestgen, Hartzheim, Gough, Christnovich, and Boulden.
