Duwe receives outstanding support staff award
PLATTEVILLE - Todd Duwe, the director of Technical and Event Services at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, was recognized for his service to UWP student organizations at the annual UWP Leadership Awards Ceremony held Friday, April 30. Duwe received the outstanding support staff person to a recognized student organization award. This honor is given to a faculty, academic staff, or classified staff member who provides important support but are not advisors to a recognized student organization. The 2004 nominees were Duwe, Richard Egley, Deb Putnam, and Sue Vavricka.
A 1999 UWP graduate with a bachelor of science in ag engineering technology, Duwe is a member of the operations team responsible for opening the Pioneer Student Center and a member of the design team for the student center multimedia installation and live production systems. Said his nominator, "Todd is the backbone of the office that we all rely heavily upon. He's a real top notch professional."
