Orchestra

Orchestra

This year is filled with fantastic musical experiences for students and audiences alike. Amazing orchestra concerts, a musical, the annual Holiday Gala, as well as student and faculty soloists, are some of the great opportunities the Pioneer Symphony Orchestra has to offer this year!

The orchestra is open to students, faculty, staff, and community members, ranging from advanced beginners to skilled amateurs, ages 12 and older. It is open to anyone who can read music and enjoys playing classical symphonic repertoire. String players do not need to audition to be in the orchestra. The orchestra rehearses on Mondays from 7:00-9:30 PM in Room 109 in the Center for the Arts (CFA). If you are interested in joining the Pioneer Symphony Orchestra, please let Dr. Brian Burns know what instrument you play and what part you prefer (Violin 2, Viola, etc.).
