Media Technology Services (MTS) is a multifaceted resource for faculty, staff, and students. As part of UW-Platteville’s Information Technology Services (ITS) department, MTS provides a variety of media-related services to the campus community. Our facilities and services are provided to directly support both students and staff in a wide range of aspects and activities. 


These services can be defined in two primary areas; Multimedia Production and Media Technology Support. Media Services staff design, develop, and distribute many videos for administrative units, students, and faculty. Media Services also provides comprehensive technical support services for all teaching and learning spaces, including audio-visual equipment services, multimedia projection system support, systems design and consultation. Media Services is located on the eighth floor of Pioneer Tower.

Submission Deadline: Wednesday, April 26, 2017

The Innovations in Technology for Teaching and Learning award program provides faculty and teaching academic staff with funds to purchase technology with the potential to improve teaching and learning. All full-time UW-Platteville faculty and teaching academic staff are eligible and invited to submit proposals with a budget up to $5000 (no more than $1,000 can be allocated for stipend or salary).

This is a juried, competitive award program for UW-Platteville faculty and staff. Up to two projects will be selected for funding. Preference will be given to projects that are innovative, scalable, adaptable, and applicable to teaching in all disciplines.
