What is NSSE?

The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) is a way for University campuses to learn about the experiences of first-year and Senior students.  The survey gives a picture of how UW-Platteville undergraduates spend their time and what they gain from attending college.

What does it do for me?

NSSE offers students an opportunity to give voice to their experience and the results of the survey help the University make changes that benefit you.  From advising, to teaching, to student life, NSSE helps give the University a picture of how well we are doing and how we can improve your UW-Platteville experience.

Do I have to participate?

* Participation is voluntary and is only open to first-year and Senior students.  If you do not get an email from the Chancellor inviting you to participate, you will not need to participate.  If you do get an email inviting you to complete the questionnaire, please complete the survey!

How will my responses be used?

* Your survey responses will remain strictly confidential and will only be shared in aggregate form.  Your individual responses will not be shared with other students or your instructors.
