PASS System Outage
PeopleSoft will undergo a major tools upgrade requiring a disruption in service. During this time PASS will not be available. Those who try to access the system will receive a “service down” message.
This upgrade to PeopleSoft Tools 8.53 is necessary as Oracle no longer supports older tools. In addition, the new version allows us to take advantage of new functionality such as better browser support that includes more current browsers and iPads. Tools 8.53 also contains a powerful new Search framework and improved functionality that allows analysts to test scenarios.
For faculty, advisors, and students the most visible difference is the location of the navigation. The links are now displayed across the top rather than on the left. Menu content and pathways within the system remain the same.
