Wisconsin Section High School Math Contest

The contest can be described as "algebra, geometry, and ingenuity".  It is designed for students who have studied at least one year of algebra, and are at least in their first semester of geometry.

The test is to be given in your school during a 75-minute period on Thursday, December 6, 2007.  You will score the test (a key will be provided) and return the results to us. An answer sheet will be provided for students to record their responses which makes for easy grading.  We will award a book and a certificate to the student achieving the highest score at your school.  In addition, each student scoring in the top 1% in the state will receive a certificate of achievement.

The fee is 40 cents per copy with a minimum order of 10 copies, plus a $5.00 registration fee per school.  Any pre-high school student in your area who is taking high school geometry may take the test.  If you know of any such person, please include their registration along with your request.

The entry deadline is October 30, 2007

A copy of last year's exam is available in pdf format.
