Universal Borrowing

Universal Borrowing (UBUniversal Borrowing is a service that allows borrowing of materials from libraries in the UW system) is a service that allows borrowing of materials from libraries in the UW system.

Advantages include:

  • Access to millions of items across the state
  • Quick delivery time—usually 1-3 days to receive items
  • Available 24/7 to request materials online
  • You may choose to pick up the materials at Karrmann Library, or at another UW library location

Getting Started
In the Karrmann Library catalog, select the "Other Catalogs" gold button, located across the top in the upper left-hand corner.

You may select all the UW libraries, including UWP, or an individual library. Then follow the instructions for requesting materials.



Note: You will need your 16-digit UWP ID number.
