The Instructional Materials Laboratory (IML) is a curriculum library supporting the School of Education . The IML loans pre-K through twelfth grade materials for teachers and education students. The collection includes practical and applied materials including lesson plans, children’s textbooks, tests, children's and young adult literature (fiction and non-fiction), and teacher edition classroom materials. Education theory, history, and research materials are located in the Elton S. Karrmann Library. The IML is located on the third floor of the Karrmann Library.

IML Collections

The IML houses over 25,000 items supplying materials for student-teacher preparation classes from thirteen different collections, and maintaining continuing access for our graduates and the classes they teach as professionals.

Media

Equipment is available for previewing each audiovisual format found in the IML. Additional equipment includes a scanner, a large print reader, and a photocopier. Copies cost ten cents per side.
