InterLibrary Loan (ILL) is a system for acquiring materials, from other libraries, not available at the Karrmann Library. UW-Platteville students, faculty, and staff must use the ILLiad Interlibrary Loan system. All other forms are for local area libraries and Distance Education students.

The ILL department has the same hours as the Karrmann Library.

ILL Request for UWP Students, Faculty & Staff

Faculty, staff or students possessing a UW-Platteville ID card may remotely request materials through Interlibrary Loan. Undergraduate student requests are filled by Wisconsin libraries, however faculty and graduate students may request materials available from out-of-state libraries.

UWP Students, faculty, and staff must use the link below to order ILL's using the new ILLiad Interlibrary Loan System. You will need to know your UWP ID number in order to place requests. Books (Monographs) and Journal Articles can be requested once you have logged in to the ILLiad pages.

Articles that are avialable within the UW System should be delivered electronically by using the Odyssey sub-system of ILLiad, and will only be available to view through the ILLiad pages. Faculty and Students must have their UW Platteville e-mail account activated in order to receive item available notices.

Distance Education Students

ILLiad service is available to current Distance Education Students, and normally gives you the fastest turn around times for article requests.

To obtain your 16 digit ID number, you must contact John Vieth at 608-342-1468.
