Published by the Buros Institute, the Mental Measurments Yearbook (MMY) contains full text of reviews and contact or ordering information for all English language standardized tests covering educational skills, personality, vocational aptitude, psychology, and related areas. It is the goal of the editors of the MMY to provide information and reviews on all commercially published English language tests, without regard to a test's effectiveness or standards.

The MMY Online database begins coverage with the ninth edition.

The printed version of the MMY

The printed version of the MMY is shelved in the Reference Collection on the main floor of the library with the call number Ref LB3051.T4. The library has 1938 to date.

Not all available tests are reviewed in any one printed edition of MMY, so it may be necessary to consult several editions.

If the test's title is known, go directly to the main section (called TESTS AND REVIEWS section) which is arranged alphabetically by test title. If the test title is not known, use the indexes listed below.

Note: Before 1985 the MMY main section wasn't alphabetical by test title, so you need to use the indexes in the back of each volume.

Tests In Print (TIP)

TIP serves as an index to MMY and consists of descriptive listings of tests without reviews. TIP is shelved on the library's main floor, Ref LB3051 .T47. The library has 1961 to date.

The main TESTS IN PRINT section is arranged alphabetically by test title. Entries for tests in this section offer brief information on tests and refer to other volumes for more information.
