The Karrmann Library is a selective Federal Depository Library receiving approximately 30% of the U.S. Government publications distributed to depository libraries. The Library is a Wisconsin State Document Regional Depository. The Department contains an extensive Map Collection and provides electronic access to government publications via the Internet and CD-ROM.

Materials are arranged on the shelves by document classification number and may be checked out for the library's regular loan period. The Government Publications Collection is accessible all hours the library is open.
