The Map Collection is located on the third floor of the library. The collection contains over 17,000 individual maps, including U.S. Defense Mapping Agency (Army) maps, U.S. Geological Survey maps, and U.S. quadrangle maps. Also included are state geologic maps, National Geographic Society maps, and Central Intelligence Agency maps.
Computer listings on microfiche which index the map collection are available near the Map Collection.
For assistance in using indexes or in locating government publications and maps, ask in the Government Publications Offices, room 305, 8am-5pm or at the Reference Desk on the main floor. Most items not found in the collection can be obtained through interlibrary loan.
All maps circulate for the library's regular loan period.
